FAQ - Quick Reference
Yes. A new account & waiver includes our updated Strong Safety Standards and Procedures and includes the ability to reserve safe zones. Our Safety Procedures will be sent to you once you have registered for class on our Strong website.
Yes. A maximum of 10 people per class are permitted at a time for CrossFit classes and a maximum of 6 people are permitted during Open gym sessions. You must reserve a class spot before it has started in order to be able to participate. Reservations through our Strong website will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
To limit exposure, each member has a maximum of 3 CrossFit classes and 3 open gym sessions available for participation per week (6 total sessions per week and only ONE session per day). For example: If you want to go to the 7:00 AM CrossFit class on Monday and want to reserve a spot for open gym right afterwards, that will not be permitted as it includes two sessions on the same day. We are asking you to only choose ONE of those to participate in on a 24-hour period.
Yes. All members need to sign-in through the Strong website at any time BEFORE class. We encourage you to schedule the week out as class spots will be capped at 10 per CrossFit class and 6 per Open gym hour!
In order to limit the capacity of our facility, we will allow members to enter the building no earlier than 5 minutes before their reserved class.
No. Once class begins at the designated class time, we will not permit members to participate in that class if they arrive after the start time. We ask that you make appropriate accommodations to arrive on time because showing up late and having already reserved a spot prohibits others from the opportunity to join in on that class.
We will allot time at the end of every class to allow for cool-downs and ask that members not stay longer than the 1-hour session to limit the capacity of the gym at any one time. We are also only allowing members to participate in either 1 CrossFit class or 1 open gym session per day.

Yes. We will have areas marked out and numbered for each person able to perform all movements in class safely and at a safe distance apart.
You betcha! Open gym members are just as responsible as class members and coaches for cleaning and wiping down all equipment that they come into contact with. Areas for workout spaces will also be designated and numbered for each reserved spot during open gym.
As much as we love teaming members up for partner-style workouts – for the time being, we will keep workouts individual and within our 10-person class structure.
While we love the camaraderie of support and celebration, we ask that members limit person-to-person contact and opt for “air-fives” and positive affirmations of a job well done!
Nope! While our entrance will remain the sliding doors at the front of the building, our designated exit area will be through the doors on the Fun side of the building that will lead to a stairwell to the parking lot. This will be displayed through signs throughout the facility. When in doubt, ask your coach!
You will still be able to use the bathrooms, however, shower facilities and use of the lockers will not be permitted.
Gloves, Masks, & More
Because wearing a mask when performing high-intensity exercise is a safety risk, we are not requiring that members wear masks (it is completely optional).
Because it is not a state-wide mandate to wear gloves and it can obstruct one’s ability to grip equipment in a workout and/or result in gloves tearing during a workout, we are not requiring that members wear gloves. However, we will have gloves available on-site for anyone that would prefer to have them.
Yes. For your safety and ours, all coaches will be wearing gloves and masks while coaching classes.
Unfortunately, we are not going to be offering chalk in our gym because there is no way to sanitize chalk without ruining the material (and rendering it ineffective). Members are welcome to bring their own to use during class.
If you are experiencing non-exercise-induced symptoms that include a progressive cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell, then we ask that you stay home. Please consult your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning to you.
Antibacterials target the growth of bacteria. Antimicrobials target various microorganisms; this includes bacteria, fungi, parasites, and even some viruses. Antivirals target… you guessed it, viruses! Many non-bleach popular products such as Monk Disinfectant Wipes target several different microbes, and we will have these wipes widely accessible for members and coaches.
We will be using the following EPA approved disinfectant cleaners to use as a part of our sanitization protocol:
– Benefect Botanical Decon 30
– Monk Wipes
– Sanicare Mint Quat
We will be using EPA registered disinfectants to keep our facilities clean and safe. Members will be using “Monk Wipes” for after class use to wipe down equipment. Coaches will use “Benefect Botanical Decon 30” and “Sanicare Mint Quat” to further disinfect the fitness floor between classes as well as throughout the facility to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
All high touch-point surfaces throughout the facility will be cleaned and wiped down using our “Benefect Decon 30” on a regular basis throughout the day. Our floors will be thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned multiple times per day to ensure a residue-free surface.
Yes! We have carefully chosen natural disinfectant methods with low dwell times so our members and staff can be safe at all times.
Direct Application to High Touch-Point Surfaces
All workout equipment used during each class will be wiped down at the end of that class by both members and coaches. Coaches will disinfect additional equipment, surfaces, and facilities between classes as well as at the end of every day.
The main floor in room A and B of Strong will be deep-cleaned at the end of every day.
All handles on aerobic equipment such as the Assault Bikes and True Form Runners as well as pull-up bars on the rigs, bands and medicine balls that have been used, bathroom surfaces, weightlifting plates, etc. will be disinfected at least once every day.
Yes! We must all do our part in keeping ourselves and each other safe. We ask that each member uses the disinfectant wipes provided throughout the gym to wipe everything that they use in class (this includes dumbbells, barbells, assault bike handles, bands, pull-up rigs, etc.) after the workout.
Yes! We ask that members wash their hands with soap and water after entering the building as well as before they leave the building.
Yes. Because we are limited in the equipment that we have, in order to service in-person classes again, it is imperative that members return borrowed equipment before we open our doors.
Nope! If you have not returned equipment, you will not be able to participate in in-person classes until they are returned.
Our equipment drop-off times are from 10AM-12PM and 3-5PM on Thursday and Friday (May 14-16) for members who want to be able to participate in Open gym starting May 18. For members who want to start participating in CrossFit classes starting May 25, they can drop off equipment on May 14-15 OR on May 20-21 from 10AM-12PM and 3-5PM.
We want you to feel at ease when you are working out in our facility. If you choose to continue your membership with Strong from home, we will still offer streamed classes as well as accessible programming and a Strong Advisor to check-in on your progress. Once you are ready to join in-person classes, you will need to return your equipment prior to signing-up for a class.
We will not be offering virtual classes after May 18. We will stream our in-person classes for those that want to workout from a distance at home!
Nothing! You still have access to your Strong Advisor and the option of weekly check-in video calls. Please be sure to let your Strong Advisor know when you want to schedule a meeting.
Until further notice, all Olympic Weightlifting, Yoga, and Studio classes will not be offered in-person. We are hoping to have these classes up and running by June 1st.
Reserved Family Play Classes
Yes. A new waiver that includes our updated Strong Safety Standards and Procedures will be sent to you once you have registered for class on our Strong website.
Answer: FUN Class sessions are offered in 60 & 90 minute blocks within the following hours: 10:00am-5:00PM.
Answer: Yes. A maximum of 10 people per class are permitted at a time. You must reserve for a FUN Community class before arriving. Reservations through our Strong website will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Answer: Yes. Although your group has booked online, you will sign-in at the front desk to ensure safety protocols are reviewed, waivers are signed and you join your group at the right Zone at the right time.
Answer: In order to limit the capacity of our facility, we will allow guests to enter the building no earlier than 5 minutes before their reserved class.
Answer: Yes. However, we ask that you make appropriate accommodations to arrive on time because showing up late may have you checking in at the same time as another class. You don’t want to miss any FUN!
Answer: We will allot time at the end of every class to allow for finishing games or completing one last obstacle. We ask that guests not stay longer than their session to limit the capacity of the gym at any one time. We also are allotting needed time to clean and sanitize between classes.
Your Family fun class has specific zones. You will choose your zones at time of reservation and will only be allowed to be in those specific zones at your designated times. You will only be able to use the obstacles in your zones, so please review obstacles in your zones at time of reservation.
Unfortunately, no. We have zoned our entire facility to ensure a safe, clean and sanitized environment for you and all guests. Due to possible scheduling conflicts with other classes, we cannot change your zones when you arrive.
FUN Camps, Parties & Events Protocol
TO BE ANNOUNCED. We are extremely excited to announce our options and protocols for Summer Camps, Parties and Events. We have systems in place to offer these services but will wait until Local & State guidelines have been updated and confirmed.
